:wee: Way to go Flexi' :wee:

Do you have much skating / skiing experience ?
Turns will probably be the hardest.
I suggest you just enjoy the ride at 1st and slow down to a stop on the turns until you are good and comfortable with them. Then doing a step turn will probably work best ? Carving a turn on those big boys may be a learned skill ! :cool2:

Ride on :bigok:

Kites: 2.5m Profoil , Quadrifoil XL kitesurfer, NPW 5 Danger.
Flexifoil: 1.7m Sting, 4.9m Blade 3, 9m Blade 2.
Flysurfer : 19m Speed 2 SA, 7m Pulse
Peter Lynn :18m Phantom, 15m Synergy, 10m Synergy, 1200 Farc, 460 Sarc, 130 Tarc, 5m Peel, 4.2m , 6.4, 8.5 C-Quads, 3.5 LS2 single skin.

Rides: Flexi / P.L. Frankin'Buggy , Shaped + straight skiis, sand skis, Coyote blades. Core 95 ATB. RKB R2 ATB .

Of course step turns work best and are very simple. I can flip a U pretty quickly. You may carve a turn when you have plenty of room. Stepping will account for 95% or your turns.

i agree. STEP ON ...THEN HOP WITH REDIRECT def feel the ski feel.
balancing to the outside edge for an under push plant is very steep. only with speed can i manage being comfortable with solid rig power. the v13 combo has excellent speed and quickness for my weight and height. threshold wind about 8 mph allows for good warm up and speed control. the sliding thing is totally sweet, the snap back from depower up wind ride to total hot full power with a smoking kite nice and low. the callus still ache from my last session. going full on land like water is like ......puddling to shoveling sand on the hands with heavy bar pressure.
