I was just gonna leave a post saying what happened to the logo? I like it :tumble:

That text was my favorite from the logo change process. That logo with the block letters didn't have a kite anywhere though. This is a good combo.

Shouldn't it be 'Traction Kite Community' ?

I think its more about using the kite for traction activities than about the kite. Its just a different emphasis. Now that I buggy, I understand the difference. Now instead of my kiting life revolving around the kites I own, it is more focused on what kind of fun I can have with them. When you are cruising around in a field or up and down the beach, the mobility is much more the source of your fun than admiring the colors or brand name on your kite. I wouldn't have understood this 6 months ago. In the buggy, the kite is more of a tool to have fun rather than the fun in and of itself. On the other hand, I don't want to diminish how important the proper kite is to allow the fun to begin and be sustained. The right kite can make all the difference in the world.

In water skiing, if you have a zen like slalom run, where everything flows and energy is sustained and conserved instead of discarded and recreated every 2.7 seconds, you forget about the boat, the ski, the lifejacket. Its all about the motion, and not the equipment.

Traction Kite is a type of kite. Kite Traction is a series of sports using a kite for the power. We kitebuggy, kitesurf, kiteskate and kiteboard (etc.), therefore we are a Kite Traction Sports Community. Which reminds me... I forgot to put the word 'Sports' in the logo ;-)
