Why Doesn't Flysurfer Manufacture Paragliders?

Many of the kite companies manufacture paragliders

And many of the paraglider companies manufacture kites

Depending what sport you look at it from....

But, why doesn't Flysurfer manufacture paragliders? Hell with the amazing kites they make, we would see leaps and bounds in paraglider technology!!! Look at the new (Psycho 4's?) Perhaps the variable projected area technology of that kite could have some use in paragliding? As a substitute for big ears or something to that effect. Or the size of your glider could be trimmed in flight? So say your a size medium wing, you would buy a "medium wing" that is trimmed to have that size at 50%, but let it out, and you have a large, to fly in conditions like glass off, and benefit from that, or, if it gets strong, bring it all the way in, and you have a small.

And I know Flysurfer uses them in kites, IDK if they're used in paragliders or not, but what about jetflaps?

Or what about the concept of a semi closed cell glider? It would have some full open cells for inflation, but most of the cells being valve style? I know my open cells collapse, but I've never seen my ARC's do a frontal tuck, and those have drasticly overshot the top of the window.

I think on the Warrior, there was an extra line that actually pulled the wingtip in like an acordian, that could help turn faster, with less increase in drag perhaps.

I'm not sure what else FS uses, but I bet alot of it could be used in paragliders.

Skywalk is a German paraglider manufacturer

They have the same adress as Flysurfer
FLYSURFER
SKYWALK GmbH & Co. KG
Bahnhofstr. 110
83224 GRASSAU
Germany

their site
http://www.skywalk.org/

they use the JetFlap in their sail
http://www.skywalk.info/Content/289/?mnid=104

So I would say they DO

So when I start paragliding when my son has grown up enough that my wife will let me go ;-) (~10years) I will use skywalk if their quality and safety is the same as Flysurfer.

If their pricing is also the same as Flysurfer, you're gonna pay a pretty penny for a Skywalk wing though. My Ozone Buzz Z was $3700....
