tinkering advice

hey I hate my kite so I am thinking of tinkering with it a bit for fun instead of burning it.....this 3m buster...here's what I am thinking....since it deflates too quickly...I wanted to change the inlets to the ones like the flysurfers....little holes for air intake........

and convert it to a real depower....i am thinking that a 3m depower would be good for high winds

any advice with this idea?
