does anybody use flysurfers as buggy engines?
I'm debating getting into the buggy world and was wondering if I'm crazy to be considering using my flysurfers as buggy kites.
I have a 7m pulse, 13m psycho 3, 17m silver arrow 1.5
I realize these probably have a lot more lift then a typical buggy kite but I'm wondering if anybody has any experience using flysurfers with a buggy.
I'm trying to decide if I should even try this or if I should be looking at getting a few small fixed bridles for buggy days.

i've had plenty of hours with my PL race and my 12m Pulse2. i'd guess when the wind is medium light, about 8-12 m/ph. *i am 170 lbs and wind range is
a guess as my cruddy wind gauge isn't very accurate.
EDIT
i agree that FBs w/handles is easier to contol/brakes and what i use 80% of time. just had a long spell with wind that wouldn't power my largest FBs
or wasn't any fun with the large FBs.

Part of it will come down to what you're used to. I find the bars a bit annoying in the buggy but perfect on the landboard or skis. Handles are great
in the bug, on the Coyotes and when used with a strop though I didn't hook in at all this summer - kinda like the thought of snow to cushion the ride
if I need to drag a bit while I unhook ; )
If you're solid on the bar you might as well give it a go.

I have used Pulse 10m in a buggy once. The conditions were rough (winds in excess of 20mph) and I was overpowered quickly. Had the conditions been
favorable, the kite would've been fine for a buggy. I use my FS kites for landboarding so it was a different experience. The kite was generating so
much pull that the buggy was sliding sideways and when I straightened the front wheel, it took off like a rocket. I later realized that this was
upwind!

I buggy with Flysurfer kites all the time, Psycho3, Psycho4, Pulse2, Speed2, in all sizes from 6M to 19M.
I have to say that I am reluctant to pull out 15M and probably never again 19M as they become handful. I spend more time getting out of buggy to save
the kite (15M or larger) than riding in the buggy.
With anything smaller than 15M, I always have good time buggying. As a matter of fact, I just sold Blade IV 6.5M as it overlaps with my Flysurfer
kites.

im actually not a big fan of fast kites....not to say flysurfers are slow....i like how forgiving my silver arrow is. when i crash it gives me a
chance to recover before it starts heading towards the water
