Kiters...Where in the Northeast US would you move to?

Hi All,

I have been offered a job which requires me to live in the northeast US. I'm from Cali...looking for some feedback. Where would you live if you could be ANYWHERE in the Northeast?

- access to kiteboarding, landboarding, and nature (mountain bike trails, etc) all important to me.

Thanks in advance!

What states make up your definition of Northeast?

I live in south east NH and its a nice area. I think that Cape Cod is probably the best location in the area for kiteboarding, but I'm not on the water yet so this is just what I've heard.

Portsmouth NH area is nice, but I'm not sure what your options are.

Having lived in Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire and now Ma. {Cape Cod} I would have to say for your requirements it would be between Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

What type of job and how about the dreaded commute? That would factor in many variables!

I'd say Northeast MA or Southern NH but it depends on where you are working and how much you like to pay in taxes.
