in the middle of nebraska called lake McConaughey. windy all the time!!! the only problem is now all the hard clay is gone, covered in soft sand so i cant board or buggy without a bigfoot.

What's the normal wind speed? Is it gusty or pretty smooth most days?

they allow it, check out thekiteranch.com for kite surfing, normal winds are wnw 15-20 on a good day(most days) but the winds kick over 40mph at times. other wise ya the terrain is kick @$$ the nice rolling sand hills make it nice plus there is a hard layer of clay/sandstone under a thin layer of soft sand, so it makes for an interesting ride.
