exercise routines for kiting

just curious how many of us workout (lift, run, cycle, swim, walk, stretch, etc)) to maintain fitness/strength/flexibility levels. Proven fact that increasing fitness/strength levels will not eliminate but greatly reduce the risk of injuries................

I go to the gym about 3 times a week (bi's, tri's, chest and abs). Try to get my legs and cardio done at my local field - kiting for about 45min. Well that parts out....been no wind local for what seems like forever!!!

Pretty much same as you guys. since daylight savings has pretty much ended after work sessions at the park, I try to hit the gym 2-4 times a week and just do some cardio and vario upper and lower body stuff. Then of coarse abs till it hurts!

Fearing christmas cookie season though....

hmmm....I've been severely neglecting this topic.

Singletrack and Downhill mountain biking and racquet ball have been my only exercise lately. I need to start hitting the weights and abs.

5 strength training and 3 cardio workouts per week for me but I'm kind of a fitness nut.

I include in my workout specific forearm, wrist and neck exercises just for kiting. forearms and wrists so I can leverage the handles and neck so I don't get whiplash when I hit the ground with a helmet on.

Between kiting, buggying, and pitching baseballs to my son, I'm in the best early March shape I've been in for 15 years. I just can't make the exercise for the sake of exercise work without a partner that I can't let down by not showing up. I haven't been able to see anything flex in my abs in early March since I got married. I have more that flexes right now than doesn't. At this rate, I'll be able to do Calvin Klien ads by August.:o And I'm having fun doing it all. Oh, and I ditched breakfast cereal for oatmeal every morning. I really think that is helping too. You just can't beat buggy abs.

I'm on the "chase the rowdy 4 year old around" work out program. Mentally and physically exhausting. Add a dozen dogs and a bunch of horses to the scenario and the gym becomes redundant.

Get exercise at work in supermarket so do not need extra. Anyway why waste good kiting time on exercise when you could be getting it with a good kite session.
