Interesting idea. Was only a matter of time before someone managed to put all that stuff together. I wonder how well it all works. And if you take a slam.. will it all still work?

lol yeah, that's what I was thinking. It seems as though the electronic part is actually below the helmet part which makes me think yes?

Possibly. I also wonder what is inside the helmet. How are the cables run? The picture almost makes you think they just put the headset inside the helmet. I would hope its just the cables run around the rim, but without seeing it, its hard to tell...

It's likely the bluetooth is just for music. I can't image they put a mic in there, and that it would work well. I've seen some of the bluetooth one but the main complaint is always battery life. The circuitry is really small so it's usually just embedded in the helmet. It'd work after most non-major crashes, but you'd probably want to replace the helmet for safety reasons.

I've got a K2 crossfire helmet that's got ear flaps that headphone slide into. The cable between the headset routes across the top of the helmet and the cable to the mp3 player <or phone ;)> can either drop down from the ear piece on either side or be routed to the back in case you have the player in the backpack.

My helmet is a Large, and I'm really a Medium. I picked this up last year at a ski-a-thon to support a cancer event but am likely going to sell it to buy a medium size that won't make my head look like a watermelon.
