SHOT CARS
Any new car pics to post for this years shot car race? I was thinking about just gluing some wheels to a mason jar this year! And maybe even a DUI
race. That will bring the pro's out.

Hey Sailors,
Check the back pages of the nabx forum.
I found numerous threads for the past two years.
Most all is explained there.
Traditions are what YOU make them.
I am not running shot-car races this year.
Somebody else needs to step up if you want them again.

Hey Sailors,
First, I told Caddo not to eat that.
I told him.
Second, not running shot-car races does in no way imply I don't drink from and with shot-cars and those who choose to so imbibe (and drive).

So, here's the deal, if you guys want to race, someone step up!
The mayor is stepping down.
He will not cast his pearl before. . .
anyway, it's your party, and your time, so if you bring it, they will race!
Any takers?

Hello to my kite friends. I am willing to do the races this year with a few conditions ( don't want to call it rules).
#1- you must bring your fuel if you want to participate
(coolaid, water, beer, vodke, or whatever you drink.
#2-bring your shot car
(anything that has wheels with a shot glass on it)
#3-I need a head count to see if we have enough participants otherwise forget it. (don't want it to be like last year)
#4- there is a curfew for kids after the first half hour of the races. (I know its a family event but kids seem to take over the track since it is
toys were playing with after all)
I'm thinking of holding the races for 2 days before the banquet I will have music and try to create a kickback and enjoy yourself environment, what I
suggest is for the guys that hang out at the hotel bar to come over and have a good time @ the tent. I imagine it wold be cheaper to drink @ the tent
anyway. If anyone wants liquor and don't want to carry on the trip let me know what you like and Ill bring it from vegas and you pay me when you get
there.
remember shot car race winners are the ones who participate not the ones who make it to the finish line first. and its not about getting sloshed its
about bonding with like minded people.
any comments, whines, or suggestions is appreciated. lets get a head count please.

I'm so there, made some cool ones I will post soon. I had fun playing with Root-Beer last year and no-one knew. I have a request for Buggiers of
Buggy Town, Please No Smoking inside the tent, I can't hang out in there when it's like that. I will bring plenty of fuel and some huge smiles.
Thanks all for making every year better.:wee::wee:

If im not mistaking the rules set by the NASCRAA (North American Shot Car Racing Association of America) states that you can use any size race car as
long as it fits on the track and you have to completely consume your fuel before your car hits the track. althugh you wold have to race the same scale
car to be qualified for the grand prize. The track is 3 inches wide. Use the pics above for reference some cars are for show and some for racing.
Fuel up
Race on

Hey Sailors,
First of all, the sanctioning body is ASCRAA
American Shot Car Racing Association of America.
And they are no-one to be trifled with.
ASCRAA says you may bring anything you like.
The track will only hold Hotwheel/matchbox size cars.
The lanes are 2" wide.
If you still think racing is the game, stop and think some more.
The silliness is to provide some kind of distraction.
Some entertainment in the evening.
An excuse for folks to gather together and make NEW friends.
The casinos are too loud and not made for hanging out.
Your room represents the people you came with and already know.
Shot Car Racing represents the folks you need to meet.
Good Times Await.

Yes of course its ASKRAA NOT NASKRAA, and the track is 2 inches, please talk to the ruling body not to suspend my racing license for my mistake, in
return I will supply the awards for each night.
catagories are.
1.the fastest car
2.the best show car
3.and a surprise award (attend to find out what)
and Im offering again if you need booz let me know and Ill buy it for you from discounted store. Lee's discount liquor store. or any grocery store if
you want to drive to town.
a-man to what the lama said, always enlightening us with his wisdom, thank you.

Hey Fast Freddy and event participants,
I have a new set of "Show" Shot Car collections to share with the group this year.
I would like to set-up a table in the tent for a "Best of Show" exhibition that will run along with the Shot Car races.
This of course if the avtivity could be sanctioned by the governing body of the ASCRAA and it's team of Directors .......... ??
