Snowkiting in New England

Hello,

Does anyone where you can to snowkite here in New England? I would like to find some good spots and group to hang out snow kite with.

I was planning to head up to Lake Winnipesaukee this weekend. Is there anyone planning to go there this weekend?

Thank you,

TN

Where in NE are you? There are a number of us around. Long Lake in ME is popular as is Lake Sunappee in NH and Lake Massappessic in Manchester, NH. North Conway is popular and Lake Winni if its frozen - try the coves first.

This weekend a number of riders are looking at Lake Mascuppic in Dracut, MA and some were out last weekend on the lake in Wakefield.

Check the forums at www.powerlinesports.com for a better feel of who is going out when as they are local.

ragden, where in Upstate NY do you go?

I'm in Albany and I'm looking for locations and people to fly with.

I've just started with traction kiting and if you ask me the best way to learn is to hang out with those who know how...

Easily the single best know spot in NY is Tug Hill Check out other snow kiting spots in NY. To show just snow kiting, click "Kite Sports" in the menu, then select snow kiting.
