I totally agree with you Bladerunner.
I had a chance to fly it as well and it is an awsome kite... great pull and very stable I found.
I was inquiring about it and I might get one after NABX.( I will have to try every thing else first)
I was told I could order it in custom colours too....Black/Red combo would look great.

@ wolfwolfee: skycountry reflex, they have website so google or PM scudley, he gave me a fly on his and I liked it! stable and lifty, smooth, not grabby, but I don't have a lot of kites to compare it to... made in czech by a company that also makes paragliders... Can also find a review or two on this site with a search...

fixed bridles, flying static, been two years now... ??? folks must be wondering....

sting 1.7, dp power 2.5, crossfire 3.2, ace 5, blade iv 6.5, ace 8, ace 12...

also a couple of arcs, 12 syn and 12 phanny, but i\'m not yet up to speed on them.

YES, Skycountry kites are a real sleeper . Not many people have had the pleasure of flying them . It's too bad. These are the kind of kite you try then want to buy.

Maybe it's time for a Pass The Reflex experiment ?

Good idea if Sky Country wants people in North America to see what their kites are like...

We've had some "pass the kite" opportunities from different companies, some good and others not so good.

I don't think too many people would buy a relatively unknown brand of kite without flying one first.

I can't think why a "pass the reflex hasn't happened already! well.... those programs are pretty generous acts, really...:bigok:

4m would be a good size, big enough for real power and low-wind performance, small enough to show off its speed...

I suppose you guys are right; I bought the first Reflex in North America (5m) for Dusty less than five minutes after she started flying it.
I will talk to Tonya about it.

Experiment it is!
I have 2 brand new Reflexes in stock 3m (blue-white with an orange bolt and orange bottom) and 4m (white with a baby-blue bolt and white bottom).
Lines are 30m (25 m is optional), comes with handles and a generous rucksack.
There are more reviews on the racekites. More details about kites are on my website skycountry.ca
Who wants a demo first?

ps thanks to all of you Garry Point guys for passing a good word for SC. It is an unknown company in N.America, but makes such amazing kites that it will be a shame not to spread a word and hide it.

nice looking kite. how hard was the wind blowing?

seems like it has trouble staying inflated. but then again that could just be because it was being flown backwards so much.

I got to try a 5m reflex at sunset last summer. I was impressed. The wind was too low to be fully powered in the buggy, but it was really smooth and tight turning. It reminded me of a slightly tamer version of the Bego (which I love). I'd love to try one again with a bit more wind.

\

The wind was blowing less than 5 kts. The reason DS was static flying was there no wind for a ride with anything but his 11m Ozone Rage. Even with that it was not real exciting. Nobody put out a buggy. DS and BladeRunner were playing with their KGBs. DS because he was jonesing; BR because he was testing out 11m Neo.
