4m Kites for a beginner
Tried my neighbors 3m kite and was immediately hooked. I would like to learn the basics of kiting, and then strap on a snowboard. I have been
snowboarding for 5-6 years now, so I have that pretty much down. My question is, what do people recommend for a kite that will work both as a
trainer, as well as have enough pull to pull my 210 lb body on a snowboard? Would a 4m be too much? I'm not looking to break any land speed
records, I just want to be able to enjoy cruising through power fields with the odd small jump. (i don't want to be 15 feet in the air)
I have been lookng at a PKD Buster 4m,
and a powerfoil 4.0. Does anyone have any input on these kites, or what you think I should be using instead? any help would be appreciated.

The buster is a medium puller for it's size... with a low aspect ratio wing, it is very stable and not too lifty. But there are more powerful 4M
kites out there. But for the price... a decent kite. I have one for sale in the "for sale" section... or other 4 meters if you're
interested. I have too many 4m kites!

I'll take care of the post... unless it's ridiculous. I'm guessing around 20 bucks.

Pete, Windzup (the North American distributor of Ozone Kites) is currently touring the country giving free clinics teaching people how to kite
ski/board and letting people demo all of the Ozone kites for free. Get on their web page and shoot them an email ( www.windzup.com). I have a schedule, but I don't know how to upload it nor do I want to put a blatant commercial advertisement on the web
page. This is an opportunity to try different sizes and see what you like.
