The material that the silver arrow is made out of is a lot lighter than the speed... it makes a difference if your winds fall below the required amount to fly... the silver arrow stuff just hangs in the air. Im sure someone that knows them better than I do will be by shortly to give you more info.

Yes the material

The SA uses a skytex material which is lighter than regular fabric.


I guess your questions is: "Is there a low end difference ?"

That all depends on your weight or if you intend to use it on land/snow versus water


Heavier guys on water will have same low end.
Lighter guys may benefit from the skytex.

On snow the low end of the SA is a bit better


Also the skytex fabric may fly or turn a bit faster (I have read). It will definitely keep flying easier in lulls.


Last point is the skytex is more fragile.

Sure is. There is a 1, 2 and even a 2.5.
