good ol' weather network states 15 kp/h for sat. windfinder states less. looks like tomorrow after work might get a quick cold ride.

we never did the "practice time trials" but she did have a bag packed and car seat ready. she was up at 2-ish am. quietly had a bath, something to
eat, watched t.v, and finally woke me at 6-ish and calmly said "he's coming". no idea why but i never really gave much thought about what to do when
"the time" came. was more happy feeling than anything else (not, oh s@#t what do we do now)
did almost miss a turn en route though. busy gabbing.
