I didn't see this post when I responded to your other.
Same thing on Mascuppic. 8.5" ice screw hit water on Saturday and the ice was very textured. Riding was ok on skis but not sure what this weeks
weather will do to it by the weekend.

I just talked to a friend who sails there a lot. Yesterday it turned to puddles and he's still drying his kite out. It may be safe but it will not
be fun.
