blurr vs Beamer
Is it the consensus that a 3.5m blurr pulls harder then a 4m beamer3?

This is sort of an apples and oranges comparison. The mission of each kite is a little different. In shear pulling power, they very well could be
the same. The blurr is going to be quicker turning and surprisingly stable for its performance level. The Beamer is going to pull like a truck and
be unflappable. The blurr is about twice the price of the beamer as well. I've never flown a 5m Beamer but I'm translating from my experience with
the 3m.
EDIT: After the price reductions that came through last night, the price difference is only $125 now.

I mean it doesn't do any high performance kite antics like bowties, tip tucks, and collapsing at the edge only to repower in the middle of the power
zone. It just flies like you would want and expect a kite to fly. It doesn't approach that bleeding edge of performance that opens the door to most
of the things that can make kiting frustrating at times. The only times I've been frustrated flying a beamer is when the wind stops blowing. I bet
the Beamer IV fixes that!

That and the fact that the Blurr doesn't do many of those negative things either.

Looks like you picked a nice time to go Blurr shopping man. Since you've already flown a Beamer I'd definitely go for a Blurr so that you can fly a
new different kite. That's the only way that you'll really get a feel for the differences between the two kites.
Kites just don't have stats like torque and horsepower so its impossible to answer questions like "which kite pulls harder". It all depends on the
pilot to get the most out of a kite.
