I can't think of any place I'd rather be this weekend but we have a baseball tournament. I'm really jones'n for a beach run on some hard sand. You guys have fun for us that can't make it.

I'm about to go out this morning. We saw the news forecast for east winds today and the wife just said "I'll miss you honey..."

friday looks good for midday, i'll hang here just got the daughter on the video cam.

I just can't imagine the quality of life it must be to see a Jekyll Island wind report and realize that I could be taking advantage of the good news within 15 minutes. That stuff is only for dreams.

The tides look a little upside down for a down and back. I wanna go but I'm waffling.

Well we got skunked today. The paper mill smoke stacks and all the flags indicated East wind, but I get to the beach and it's NNE. Short chops on the beach. so it's not all paradise all the time!

Low tide just before noon Saturday, and a near spring tide at that. good enough for me

Hmmm...if we get up and out by 5 AM, we can be there by 11. Giving it serious thought...

Great Greg. I'll head out just after 10 am. Light south winds in the AM, supposed to clock around to SE 10-15 kts. in the afternoon. Sweet!
I'll have to go by about 3p.

Tide will be getting a bit high by then anyway. We're going to drive back tomorrow night so we'll probably jet around that time as well. 4 or 5 hours of kiting is just what the doctor ordered!:wee:

forcast update...I'm seeing mostly south from 3 sources...should we keep an option open for running the point at St. Simons??? That stretch runs east-west and sure is sweeeet...

Gotta give a quick kudos to Fat Sands Progression dvd. Thanks to their instruction my hop 180s are kickin' I did my first little controlled jumps and one aerial transition. Too cool. I wish I lived on the beach!
