New fixed or old de-power?

Hi all,

Im looking to buy my first 'serious' kite. Something i can use for landboarding to get quite a bit of power and possibly use for freestyle a bit too.

I have a fairly limited budget and basically have two options.

I could get a fixed bridle, Blade 4 4.9M, practically new for about £200

Or i could go for a 10 Meter Flysurfer Psycho 2 for about the same price.

I have read some really good reviews about the flysurfer but are they now a bit outdated? It was made 2004.

any comments would be appreciated.

Def take a look at the flysurfer pulse as another option too . From what I hear its a great user freindly kite. Perfect for that learning curve on a board. Always hear great stuff about them

IMHO you would do better with the de-power for landboarding. Better able to balance your body vs quad handles.

agree on the de[pwer for boarding... I got back and fourth between what I like on the buggy but depower is my choice for the board. If nothing else for fixed, having the pull force at my hands is way to high above my center of gravity so I'm always fighting being pulled over.
