buggy mods for jump'n

i've seen the (ebay/turtle) modded Flexi. i imagine that's top shelf for required mods on a Flexi bug.
what/how do PL XR+ owners mod buggies for jumping?
I've seen PL's new composite rear axle but i imagine it's going to cost huge (is it even in production?).
got pics;-) they speak 1000 words.
thnx,
Pau

I would say the first thing would be to attach the rear axle to the frame via bolt/weld or whatever. I would be afraid if you jumped with a pl the way it is from the factory the rear axle might just slide off the side rails :shocked2:

good times were being had by all. Unfortunately , I had to come home today. My wife wants her time too, so I'm off to New Orleans to get on a cruise ship for a week to the Caribbean. Life's tough

I wouldn't be jumping any PL. You have sat in the Flexi and know the difference in stiffness and tube size and wall thickness. Lot of Pl's I've seen have had stress crack in the head stock. I might go to a bigger buggy, getting older you know...lol

small bunny hops aren't to bad on P.Ls if your fluid and smooth on landings but over time and one to many you'll be seeking a welder

Flexi, yes. i know, i know.
i'm just looking at what's in the garage right now. still haven't heard if/when Flexi is sorting their buggy prices (surcharge) as they have with some of their other stuff. hoping they do (before the XR+ get's dirty) and i will put the XR+ on the block to get a Flexi.
