jumping with a 2.4

hi i was wondering what it would be like jumping with a 2.4m kite. im 5stone and fly a 1.8 beamer. i want a bigger more stable kite but i dont want to go much bigger than i have to. i was looking at the new crossfire from HQ. would that be alright for jumping and atb jumping. would this be alright. oh and while im at it what is a depower bar like when it isnt hooked in? is it always powered up if it isnt hooked in?

IN THE KITE BAG:

*HQ beamer 1.8
*helmet
*wristguard gloves
*ozone samurai control bar
*flexifoil kite killers

Yeah i know right mix of makes flexi, ozone, HQ all for the one kite. but i LIKE it.

As has been posted befpore when oyu are jumping the bigger the kite the more floaty the jump will be...
I was jumping with my 3.6 Beamer and came to the floor with an almighty crash - bruise still looking fairly impressive one week on:o
The smaller kites will get you off the ground but send you back again quicker - you might be beter to get a few Flexi stackers to jump with as they have good vertical lift and can be added to if the wind speeds are lower...I had a 8 and 10 stacked in 25mph winds at the w/e and got a bit of air:D
