Maybe a new Spot?

So i headed off to the beach today to check things out since i saw kitesurfers out last week. I see piper plovers everywhere and no signs. I wonder if i can make use of the hard packed sand during low tide.....How can i find out if i can use this beach before the crowds come and they start charging to use the beach.

Check out the piper.

Those little peckers do not start breeding till May. There are many terns that look like piper plovers so I would keep my fingers crossed and go for it.

Trust me- if they were plovers- there would be signs everywhere!

Now....where is the new secret spot?!

Hey BeachRights It's Called Horseneck Beach In Wesport Ma. only 5 min from my house. Now On the Sand dunes there are signs that you are not allowed on them and they are fenced off. for whatever reason i dunno. The KiteSurfers are usually a little further down the beach but i didn't see any today, even though the conditons were nice for them. I never considered coming here cause you have to pay to get in but not in off season and i havn't been here since i was a kid and didn't realize it was this big.

How did I miss that piper?! LOL!

Still hard to tell about the dunes- maybe they are fenced off for erosion control?
