what do you want to know?

watch the instructional video that comes with the kite (if not download it from kitewatch.com - they should have it)

also check out games.groups.yahoo.com/group/arcusers

you should be able to find answers to most of your questions there

good luck and enjoy,,, theyre really great kites :)

Peter Lynn Gorilla II??

Hey Mikke, thanks for the links...

One of the questions I have is: I weigh 220 Lbs. (99kilo) and my gorilla II kite is 13m. Will I be able to surf with this kite?

Thanks for any advise...

saw you joined arcusers,,, good for you:)

to keep it short: ofcourse you can surf with your g13! youll be planing a little later than a guy on 70 kg for sure... but,,, you will hold down more wind than those annoying featherweights, and thats when arcs are fun!

take a look at mel's excel chart (to be found on the arcusers forum in the "files" section) - just punch in weight and see the windrage for your g13,,, i find it to be a fairly decent guide...

anyway,,, im sure some of the more experienced guys on the forum will help;)

good luck ~ mikkel

Hi,

I recently got a 15mtr guerilla2. It generates lots of lift and a tremendous amount of power.

When the wind is hitting 15mph, I can get planing with this kite no problem. I'm guessing that I weigh around 13 stone. Although, I have a mate who is a fair bit heavier than I am... He was getting huge airs off the beach ( again, was blowing 15-20 mph).

That being said, if the wind is lower than 15, I generally can't kitesurf. IMHO, the guerilla is brilliant in higher winds and has a huge amount of depower. Although if you don't respect this kite it can bite you in the ass!

Have phun
