Greetings all in the U.A.E.

Hey all,

Just waving hello to all on the site as I'm new here. I'm looking for a place to get started with power kiting in the UAE, specifically in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi. Not really looking to do much on water as there is lots of open desert right on my doorstep (that and water freaks me out a little!:puzzled:).

If anyone has any info on people or places to get kit and advice from I will be most greatful. I'm used to flying 190sqft canopies for skydiving but so I gather big is not necessarily the way to go when starting off on the ground.

Really looking forward to making use of the big sandpit and light winds in Al Ain! :singing:

get in touch with Sand-yeti on this forum. He buggies in the UAE and looks like he has found some great spots.
