My mother was on vacation in North Carolina last year and met a yoga instructor who taught yoga on a slackline. He was telling her about it and showed here a video, she said the video/music reminded her of those that her son (me) watched involving traction kiting. Ironically that's how the guy came across it, said some kiteboarders were doing slackline yoga to help increase their balance while on the board. Very interesting stuff. I think you can find similar videos on youtube under "yogaslackers".

there is a guy here in North Dakota that does the to cross the moon snow kite expedition that has a team called 'yogaslackers' that travels all over the US doing yoga on slack lines. Some of the things they do are pretty unbelievable

I'm pretty sure our logic in doing this excersise when we did was that it was good for Mogal Skiing.

It helps you come in touch with your core + helped to teach you to keep your head steady. To find your balance below your center.

It is great fun to!

steep learning curve, tho... unless you're really lucky you'll get spat out a lot in the beginning!

pick a nice comfy spot for that line...

It is tricky but a great time! Need way more practice...

We ended up with a Gibbon setup (a little easier for the kids).
