Lost my lines :(
got my kite in a bit of a twist so took all the lines off... wrapped them up but they must of fallen out of my side pocket while i was walking. Ah
well... have to get some new ones.
The flow comes with Ozone Quad Flying Line Set - 180 / 110kg - 20m, however for a fiver more i can get Ozone Quad FREESTYLE Flying Line Set - 300 /
200kg - 20m.
will these still work with the flow? is it worth coughing up the extra cash?

There should be no reason they wouldn't work, it's the issue of them being a lil larger and the drag they create for the size kite your flying...
I honestly don't think you'll notice a difference while flying either line set, and I doubt you would ever need that large of a line set for the 4m
unless your flying in high winds a lot...
So it's going to come down to personal preference, for 5 extra go for it, you'll be able to use them on larger kites...
So, how do you like that Flow, I hear they are fantastic...

Yup, I would opt for the stronger lineset. Just check and make sure that the freestyle lineset is indeed a QUAD line set and not the 3 line "Y'
lineset that has a single center line (great for the Access & Frenzy but won't work for your Flow).

ok guys cheers for the help gonna go for the stronger ones.
Yeah screwy the flow is amazing, I'm just starting out so don't have much to compare it to but today there was literally no wind, like the hairs on my
legs werent even moving and it was still flying around, even pulling me forward a step every now and again and i weigh about 14 stones... (reweighed
the other day... need to go on a diet maybe )
Oh and i have flown it up to about 25 ish mph and it gets really strong, pulls really really hard. Great fun :D

Eli has a point, and it might be noticed when you fly in light winds... Food for thought...
The lines will be overall heavier and that might narrow your wind range for that kite (4m Flow)... My guess would be maybe 1-2 mph at the most...
So, I still think you'll be O.K., if I'm not mistaken, that kite should fly in very low wind so it shouldn't hurt much...
If I'm wrong, I apologize, and please let us know your experience and opinion if you decide to get them...

ok, i will let you know what happens. The kite flew in no wind, literally no wind, so i'm sure it will be fine. the site i got it from has a no
quibble refund policy so if they are too heavy its not the end of the world

Hey guys, just an update.
Had an amazing landboarding session today - first one in ages cos I've had so much work to do, learnt to ride upwind today :D
The flow on the heavier lines was ok. It still pulled like a train and I felt control of it at all times, however when the wind died off it did try
to luff every now and again, and this wasn't always thanks to my landboarding skills! At low winds it seemed less responsive and you could almost see
the lines pulling the kite out of the sky - so I loosened off the brake lines a bit. Even so if I was to buy lines again I would of gone for the
lighter lineset.
My plan now is to get a 6.4 blade, and put the lighter lines on the 4m and the heavier ones on the 6.4
Sound like a good plan?
