low wind is sub 20mph. that day was about 12-14mph. i dont change the settings on my syn, all straps are fully tight for power and speed. the
"only" thing i do do is trim the power strap in by 1/3

Thanks.
I flew my 15m Syn for the first time today in about 8 to 10 kts. Not enough to power the Comp 90 but good for some intro static time. All internal
straps were loose and the power strap was all the way in - only way to keep the kite from backstalling. Turning was slower than I expected but it was
not a good day to make a true assessment.
I'll follow your lead on the settings.
How about the VPC setting, which knot?

vpc - off hand, i cant remember what knot its on but, its one closer to the kite from factory setting. loosening all the straps is a good way to fly
it in light winds, but as you said its slow and sluggish.
i noticed you have a 12phanny. well when set right the 15syn is faster.
