Parts for Peter Lynn Competition - 12mm
I've been using an old PeterLynn Comp (12mm frame) for the better part of a decade and the bearings in the downtube are shot. I took the bearings to
motion industries (a bearing shop) and they didn't have anything that would work. Do I need to buy a "brand new" downtube (if anyone actually stocks
it anymore...) or do I have to get a new buggy? Does anyone have suggestions?
This is an awesome buggy that has served me well over the years and I would hate to have to throw it out because I can't find the right parts to
service it...

Do you have the bearing sizes - OD and width mainly. I can check the downtubes we have in stock but I would like to make sure the ones I have are the
same as yours.
If they are the same size, I got em. We also have the little mushroom spacers
in stock for the Comp and the XR+ series buggies.
Let me know.

should be the same size as a stock P.L. wheel bearing except it has the mushroom/ race that might be a #@%$#! to remove or cracked but you haven't
noticed or will split on you trying to tap out ..... so order them anyway{ top and bottom}.... besides they wear out as well {wobble out hole}

If you can read the numbers on the bearings you should be able to replace them. Those mushroom spacers on PL buggy had the inner bearing race siezed
onto them. I had to take a dremel tool and cut them off. BTW is got the bearing at the local Napa auto parts store for the down tube and front wheel.

Did you find out what size they are? One of my customers is a local machinist and will likely know where to source them.
