GP Video
http://www.vimeo.com/5047741
Another awesome day at Garry Point Park.
I picked up Ricardo (Ripsessionkites) at 7:30am and we got to GP around 8:00am
I was quite suprised that Ricardo came out as he just got off work at 4:00am(dam wind junkie)
Grant showed up just as we were unpacking.
Grants Bigfoot is so sweet but on the maiden voyage to the far end of the park (riding 10 feet apart) in front of 100+ people on the ALS walk
fundraiser (Lou Gehrig's Disease)...his left rear fell off.:shocked2:
I couldn't help but laugh and sorry I didn't get it on film but all was good!
The winds were good, didn't measure it but it came from the SE changed to S for a while(got some long runs in) and then to SW by 1:00pm
Got some great footage this time round but next time I hope to get more people on film.
Thanks to Ricky for doing some filming.
Still tired and sore but was nice to get about 7 hours in the bug.(no injuries this time..lol)
Get well soon DirtSlide...We miss you at the park and on film Bro!
Cheers all

The Apexx was still at home as I usually use the PL XR+ at our park...a little more nimble on our small field.
I also had to pick up Grants new Bigfoot from Ricardo on the way out so there wasn't room for 3 buggies in my Blazer plus all our kites and gear.
I bring the Apexx and PL out when I have my daughter with me so I can give her tandom rides but mostly just the PL.
Ricky...I know the feeling om being too short...when I took Grants Bigfoot for a ride, I had to pretty much lie down in the thing as he has it set up
for his 6' 2" frame...I'm only 5'6"
Cheers

Sorry I missed out !
W.O.R.K. gets in the way !
We more than made up for it on Sunday !
The wind was just right for us to go tearing along a path that leads through a feild of Lupins in full bloom.
This opens up a whole new section of park that we don't often get to. The looks on peoples faces as we came sailing out of this field of flowers was
very funny ! I wish I had taken my camera.
Note to self : start using bullet cam ! :Ange09:
