nope that was saltwater. there is a sandspit just up wind of where I was riding so its totally sheltered from waves but has very clean wind.

yeah it gets a fair amount of flow.
its best to kite it on the incoming tide or slack tide since the the current pushes you up wind. its kiteable on an outgoing but it might be difficult
to get back to the beach depending on your skill level and gear setup.
if and when you get a go pro make sure you tether it to something if you're using the adhesive mounts. I've had good luck with the adhesive mounts on
a helmet but I tried it on my board and the camera popped off after a hard landing. I almost lost it but got it back at low tide the next day.
