Do I get 6.5M or 8.5M Eolo Radsail Savage ?
Hi.
I want to make high jumps on static kiting.
No board or buggy.
In a store I can get the Eolo Radsail Savage 8.5M for the same price as the 6.5M
But is bigger better?
Should I go with the 8.5M or the 6.5M?
As mentioned, the store clerk has offered med same price on the 8.5M as the 6.5M (though the price tag on the 8.5M is $30 higher)

Welcome. Have you flown before? If so, what. That will dictate the answer. Bigger is not always better. There is a reason he is giving you a deal on
the bigger one!
If you have not flown before then stay away from both and look at something more like 3-4m.

Welcome to the forum,
I agree with acampbell, I have both the 6.5 and the 8.5, and they will definitely do major damage to you if you are new to the sport. I sell those
kites in my shop and they don't go home with newbies. But if you are an experienced flier than I would recommend the 6.5, but it is IMHO a buggy/board
kite not a static jumping kite.
Appex buggy, Libre hardcore buggies.
Flexboardz. Blokarts.
PKD Century Soulflys. NPW's. Nasa Stars.
A few other less flown oddballs,
Line sets from 10" to 328" or 2m to 100m.
worlds only AQR that works.
North American distributor for PKD.

Sorry, posted in wrong part of the forum.
I've flown a 3M for quite a while and want more pull and torque.
I'm 225lbs and quite fit, so I had no problems handling the 3M in strong winds.
The reason I can get the 8.5M for the same price is having used ""buy now" on a Savage 6.5M on ebay.
The store clerk is very sorry that the 6.5M is not in stock, and will restock in July. Therefore he suggested either me waiting to July, or would send
me a 8.5M with no extra cost on what I paid for the 6.5M
What do you guys recon.
Should I go with the 8.5M, or wait for the 6.5M?

Remember that the larger the kite, the smaller the practical usable wind range. Your Beamer is good from 5 to 25-30 mph depending on your style and
tastes. The 8.5 will be good in 3-4 mph and by about 10 mph you might have trouble keeping your feet on the ground. I do not know the kite and do
not know if it is high lift or not, so the upper range may vary from what I said. Again, there is a reason that the 6.5 was out of stock and he
still has the 8.5. It depends on your local prevailing conditions, but the 6.5 will have a wider wind range.
I have open cell fixed bridle foils from 1.7 to 10.8 m in the Kitemobile and can reach for any of them any time, but by FAR the most reached-for are
my 5m foils.

Thank you for the input.
Especially the "reason that the 6.5 was out of stock".
That tells me that the 6.5M most likely will be the more popular and appropriate kite for me.
Just have to be patient and wait for it to re-stock.
