Big Foot Tires

So to continue my soft sand narrow beach fun. I've got the PL wide tires on my buggy. Would it improve soft sand performance to just put big foots on the back or would I really need to also big foot the front tire too? I imagine steering would improve with a big foot on the front. whadda think?

After this week at the beach, I decided to sell my Flexi parts for midi tires. I can't find a reason to put them on and besides, the lower ride height would leave too little ground clearance with the PL seat. The ride, sliding turn modulation and of course soft sand performance are much enhanced with the bigfoot tires. I think you will be missing out on the full performance without the front tire floating high like the 2 on the back, but I'm not sure. I put on all 3 and won't look back again.

Adding biggies on just the back does help a lot, but also having on the front obviously makes it even better yet. It's not just the steering thru the soft that is improved but the rolling on top instead of sinking in the sand too.

Definitely though just adding them on the back is going to add some beach for ya. That and a little more "motor" power will get ya thru most of it ok.

It is a little scarey up on the dunes though with just a small one on the front. With the little extra power needed to ride there, the last thing you want is for that front tire to bog down. Your buggy will come to a quick halt, but you may not.....:o
