LAND SOFT!

So... i've been bearing with this on and off pain in my ankle the past few months (*cough* maybe more *cough*) and it just comes and goes. It's like the inside of my ankle dislocates, then i can't put any weight on that ankle... It will eventually get backinto place and it'sl ike nothing ever happened. :smug: I decided i'm going to go see an orthopedic doctor cuz I want to make sure i get this bad boy fixed. UGH I hate it, but you know, if I want to kite and board for a long time I better take care of this body... Be careful when landing on these jumps cuz I think I came down hard on a 6 foot jump or so and that's what caused it. I know i felt it crack but it didn't hurt too bad and i just walked it off. I did the good ol' "google self-diagnose":

Be sure you redirect and have nice soft landings!

oh, and a quote:
" A history of a fall from height, a motor vehicle accident (particularly with the patient sitting in the front of the vehicle, where contact with the floorboards is more likely), or a similar mechanism should suggest a possible injury to the hindfoot."

it happens , i have nice collection of glitchy body parts, head to toe. better balance saved me from worsening them. fix it while you're young!

broke my ankle the other day, was sure it was just a bad sprain...

my advice is heal it well, and look into TRAUMEEL, its an anti inflamatory that has done wonders for me, get at health food stores

injuries to date, I am 31 years,

Broken femur, hip, shoulder, tibula, fibula, calcanious ( heel ) , various toes and fingers ,cracked ribs.. several lacerations and a few torn tendons and ligaments... Crappy.

heal well, STRETCH, and stay hyrated.

wear good shoes and brace that ankle if it continues to be bothersome .
