I have now tried and succeeded in reverse landing both of my Arc's. Although not the easiest it is possible. Once down I simply let the down wind tips
simply flag out and kept the upwind lines taught and no tangles. I always wondered why you couldn't as it is possible with many de-power kites. My
Sabre comes down nicely when I tell it and will sit tied up nicely awaiting to take off again. Sure miss that kite she is off for repairs.
The Scorpion was easier than the Guerilla but the Guerilla was flying at the top end of her range when I attempted the landings.
Has anyone else tried this?

Very interesting, so how do you do it? Does it only work in low winds? I really dislike that i can't just land my venom and take like a 20 minute

Light winds only - yes. Tried stall landing my 19 in winds just a bit above the bottom end and it was a workout and a half. Granted it's relative to
the size you're bringing down but yeah.....the bad side to a bailed stall landing is a surge right up through the powerzone if you let go of the rear

As long as you fully understand the "how" and "why" about the way it works I'd say go to it. I tried this for the first time just before Christmas and
it worked like a darn. Really cool for the Arcs since I had tied it off to a grounded dock while my buddy was out flying and had it bobbing around
there for a good half hour before I brought it down. Easier to land using that method (above) than it would have been to have it caught or pull the

I can agree with you there Tom. If a person practiced the stall landing method enough to get it down whenever he wanted, it would really demonstrate
control of the kite. I just think that it would be a nice way to bring the kite down when there is no one around and you want to be 100% sure that the

I've searched far and wide and that is by far the best example of kite control I've ever seen, it's not about strength it's all about finesse and
using the power of the kite to your advantage, outstanding video and I'll definitly will be sharing it with many.
