14M GIN Eskimo Depower in great condition. No damage or repairs. About 20 sessions since new. Great low wind session saver. Only selling because I
have two, so selling one.
GIN Bar is in good condition.
Lines were recently replaced 2-3 sessions ago. Still "stiff".
$475 + shipping.
Here is video from a low wind buggy session. At first I was telling Kober "There is no way we're riding in these low winds" But we were pleasantly
surprised with the 14m Gins
Snowkite session with 2 Gin Eskimo 14m's. Jaymz on skis. Konrad on the board.

14m is the bomb. As much as I LOVED my Bego 600 I sold that after picking up Kober's 14. I'm 150#s and kiteboard on sand. Had the kite out in
measured 5-11mph winds off the ocean. Around 11 I was feeling a bit overpowered. At 7 I was jumping nicely. Kite is smooth and makes a lot of
power. Typical gGin quality in the bar, sail and bridle. Safety system is OK (release to rear lines) compared to their current 5th line system
(which is awesome) but it is sufficient for the kite given its age and if you fly properly you don't ever need to rely on this. If you want a low
wind weapon with smooth power, good depower and good jumping with nice float in the sub 10mph range, this is your kite and at that price, why would
you even second guess?
That blue and yellow Eskimo in your video is really nice. Lucky dog. the fella who owns that one :smug: stockton - 5-6-2012 at 08:48 PM
Bladerunner - please buy this to save me from pulling the trigger myself! Plus, I want to give it a try one day!Bladerunner - 6-6-2012 at 04:38 PM
What year was this kite made ?B-Roc - 6-6-2012 at 06:23 PM
circa 2006 possibly 2007.
The III series came out in 2008.
Jaymz can tell you exactly if he looks at the serial number inside the center cell as their that begins with the year and month or month / year, can't
recall.
Don't let the age fool you though. These are really nice kites.Bladerunner - 7-6-2012 at 05:14 PM
Ron + Stockton,
You talked me into it !Jaymz - 7-6-2012 at 05:43 PM
Sold to BR.....the first user that helped a newbie brother when I first logged onto PKF 3 years ago
I hope you enjoy the Gin as much as I have. Good to see a Gin kite make it's way west. B-Roc, Kober and I have the East covered ;-)
Thanks bud.B-Roc - 8-6-2012 at 06:24 PM
Congratulations BR.
Welcome to the Family :duh: :bigok:Bladerunner - 8-6-2012 at 07:48 PM
I won't be the 1st to fly Gin out our way. On my 1st snowkite visit and a few after a couple had very early model Gin FB kites . They were over the
top impressed with them. One could see the quality in design and flight characteristics easily.
I suspect my next post will by a big rave for Gin ! :wee:Kober - 9-6-2012 at 09:59 AM
Bladerunner..... I hope you will enjoy it the way I did ..... I hope new Sherpa will have some of that Eskimo feeling .....
Welcome to Gin family ....ikemiester - 9-6-2012 at 03:56 PM
Not trying to hack the thread, and I realize the kite is already sold, but for future reference, how does it compare in power to a 19m arc?Bladerunner - 9-6-2012 at 07:22 PM
It will run in direct competition with my 18m Phantom so I hope I can give you a bit of an idea.
I am hoping it will push my 10.8 Reactor II out of rotation ?Kober - 9-6-2012 at 07:41 PM
Would love to see you results ..... short report perhaps ...
.. Not really sure if it will put you Reactor in rest ......
