What to do with your big old LEI's

MyAikenCheeks - 3-9-2013 at 04:51 PM

Just had a brain far# when I saw this. Gave me a good idea.
I've got a 12m High Aspect Cabrinha I haven't got the guts
to fly sooooooooooo
I've got a long bendie tent thing that just might give it back side support. Hummmmmmmmm.

Check it out. http://www.gybe-design.com/products/t5bustent

Ok. If you pull this off for next JIBE, I'll make sure you get a set of chili peppers

I always wondered what an inflato-tube EZ-UP tent would look like. In other words, a tent with an LEI-like inflatable frame as opposed to a metal one. Something that could fit lightweight in a backpack.

Of course, given the pricing trend on LEI's, I expect such a tent to cost at least $1500 or so.

That gives me few ideas ..... lol..... looking good

Sold !!!

$1500, I'll take it!! You're the proud owner of a 12m Cabrinah Nitro and I'll throw in a new bar with new lines!

Or, I'll take $500 for a 12m tent. Still real crispy and I'll throw in the tent bendie thing.

lol..

while I was laughing at all this..

. my brain farted .

that's a pretty good idea about the blow up tents. The compact/soft compression wouldn't have "poles" sticking everywhere, and can even be tucked away inside a ruck-sack.

Kewl things you can do with a kite.
