Gros Morne (anyone here ever visit)

From what I understand (according to some searching) there's someone who does kite tours on the tablelands there in the winter. Some places in the national park are off-limits to motorized vehicles, but there's a ton of open space either way.

Apparently due to some fancy-pants geological events a long, long time ago, there are 2000ft high flat-topped mountains made of exposed mantle rock. Sounds neat. Might give it a look this year.

Just wondering if anyone here has ever looked at that or has maybe even visited. It's not that far away for anyone in the north east - so I'm assuming there's a small chance.
