I searched online but i haven't found a clear answear. I have an older Rage 2.5 and Blurr 3.5 kite. Its been a number of years since ive last flown..
I just kind of forget the bridle set. The Blurr 3.5 has the Triple A bridle adjuster.. i did find the manual for that. Im still a bit confused. I can
change the angle from High angle, normal, low angle and very low..
I had the Blurr in the air the other day.. was very low wind.. looking at the manual I had the bridle setting in the very low angle. It was the only
setting i could get the kite off the ground.... but looking at the manual it says its useful in higher winds..... what was I doing wrong? the other
settings, it was just impossible to get off the ground.
from what Im learning the angle of the kite really doesnt have anything to do with wind speed.. just grunt...
also, the brake lines have 3 knots on them. what does each one do? i noticed when I moved them, the brake lines become way more effective but what
does it exactly do?

imo...u didnt have enough wind to power the kite proper, so don't judge it till u do
I'm talking a good 12-15 wind at least...
i think id leave the adjuster off and dial in the kite under decent wind w/ just the
brake lines...use the knots till u have the kite responding nicely it doesn't matter what knot
you start on but pay attention to what happens when u make a change...if things still aren't
working you can make more knots...or even have to put them on the power lines and start again
its best to do only one thing at a time while dialing it in so pick a beginning and go from there

Hey En Raged. Your kite wants to sit on the ground ? loosen the brake lines.
The kite will fly without much pressure on the brake lines. A sway in the lines is normal.
Most kites will fly on the front two, some need a little pressure on the brakes for shape.
The bridle settings can stay middle of the road unless you need to change the performance of the kite for a special condition.
When it wont launch, but a pull on the fronts alone will launch, the brake lines are too short.
Since I only ever owned one rage and fly it rarely, I am obviously the expert here

If I can add more detail or even clarity Ed's comment.
Put your pointy finger under the top string exiting on each handle. Just rest the exit string ion your fingers. Launch the kite with the strings
sitting on your fingers (big boy launch like you only have one chance). This will, in theory, remove all brake in your kite.
I have two statements for a new kiter.
First - limp-waisted launches will guarantee failure.
Second - the kite is either flying or falling. Keep it flying.
This weekend I watched my brother fly and saw that he was having trouble launching. I told him to immediately turn the kite as soon as it leaves the
ground so that you get wind across the sail immediately.
Going back to #1...launch each time with the goal to get it a minimum of 50 ft off the ground. Launch and it goes 5 ft off the ground means that you
need to move backward 20-30 ft and get it 59ft off the ground every single time. Every time.
