Ok ready to send the kite to the next person in line which I believe is stetson05.
I got a few hours on her last Friday and was able to static fly, landboard and buggy all in one day at my local park.
First impresssions - Nice colors and very nicely built. Lots of attention to detail and looks like it would be quite durable.
I honestly didn't know what to expect when I first put her in the air. The kite has quite a bit of power..more than what I was expecting actually. The
kite is extremely stable and did not have a tendency to luft. The kite did have some lift...definitely more than the Reactor I. Static flying was fun.
I like the kite on the landboard...quick through the window and some lift at the middle and top of the window. Redirects were nice...smooth and fast.
Unfortunately, and this surprised me after flying it on the landboard, I didn't really care for the flight characteristics in the buggy. There was a
lot of lateral pull and it did not fly as forward into the window as I would have liked. Upwind was just so-so....
All in all a good all-around kite. It seems to be designed for this particular feature...doesn't excel in one area but does relatively good in all.
Thanks again to Angus for the opportunity.

Done with the Core 5.1 Review to follow but really liked it. I liked Dakitez idea and so the kite was in perfect condition when I got it. It has a
little bit of dust but I see no problems anywhere. I will send it to WIllardTheGrey in the AM.

It arrived at 12:40 today.:wee:
Haven't got in a chance to fly yet its 25-30 mph right now, too much for me with anything bigger than a 3.5.
First impressions;
Very clean and well made. What bridal? I could go backpacking with that kite bag. Are you sure anyone has
flown this kite before me? Why two figure-eight winders?
BTW the stake was in the front pocket of the backpack, its the only thing that isn't spotless.

Maybe because I sent it out factory fresh with new lines on winders, others felt compelled to do the same; go ahead and wrap on the handles.

Forget the wind. MA & RI both have thunderstorms forecast for both Saturday and Sunday. Grumble, grumble, grumble.
Of course it has been sunny most of the work week. Frikkin' conspiracy

Wow winds have been so gusty and crazy I have yet to try this kite gusting to
27-40mph winds lately. I was just gonna send it on and realized Indigo wolf is next in line and in Mass so would have same problem. I will hold it a
couple more days and see if it settles. If that's ok Angus

Yeah, wind was pretty ballistic today.
To add insult to injury, I came home sick today and more than likely will be home tomorrow as coherent thought is a little too ambitious for me right
now.
Sunday looks like a possibility.

The Core has touched down safely in the land of wolves. :wee:
The chance of rain this weekend is slowing ramping up as the hours pass. :Ange09:
