Craig Sparks posted breaking over 56 mph with easy cruising at 45-50. He says he likes the high speed powerslides. They brought 90 tires. I hope that's enough. No indication of the winds they are getting today though. Anyone know?

too much converting in my days now: dutch to english / german to english

km/h to mph and vice-versa

forecast is 4 to 7 BFT. as Arie hopes for 10 BFT.

when i checked the wind report yesterday it said 15 knots, tomorrow (FRI) brings better winds at 0600 at 22 Knots to start.
forecast is now THU - April 1 @ 23 Knots

i've come to learn that no matter what the forecast says, you kinda just go with what you get. going with a smaller kite to cruise or bigger for speed. also one side of the playa has different wind than the other side. IMO, the highway side seems to have more smooth wind or maybe the surface is smoother.

2 sleeps and counting

I'm just going to bring it all and also hope to get a feel for some of the stuff in that PL crate as well. Especially the stuff in the black bags marked "proto" back in the left corner. Hehe:singing:

HA! Wednesday night's forecast for Ivanpah on the NOAA site:

"Chance of precipitation is 50%. Little or no snow accumulation expected."

Well, as long as it's just a *little* snow...
