just walk from the bedroom to the kitchen through the family in the morning awake and naked.... If they complain say something along the lines of 'eh... its my house'. This doesn't work in my family cause they are used to it... but we are abnormal, and most other in laws would be shocked. Especially when you bend over to pick up something from the carpet and show mom-in-law the backside. :)

Just tell them they will be more than welcome to stay from 10/20 thru 10/24, and make sure you're in Wildwood, N.J. then.

Being nude helped with our nosey neibor. I sit out in the yard nude and she stopped coming over to peek at what we are doing with our projects. (she is a terrible person)

Adam

I think you are living too close to your in laws; you have to put some more distance between yourselves. If it were a 1,000 mile drive you would see them much less frequently.

How attached are you and Joy to Springfield?

How attached are you to your students?

There is demand for teachers all over the country.

I think that you would be much farther away on the east or west coast or in the high desert of the SW. Also I here the wind might be better there too.

My M.I.L. stopped by for our daughter's 2nd birthday and didn't leave for 3 weeks. The fact that she was going to stay for that long was not communicated at all... . What I thought was a couple of days of M.I.L. mayhem became weeks (not knowing when the hell she was going to leave was the worst). I feel for you bro.

Our old house had terrible guest quarters,... Unfortunately our new house is a "little too comfortable" for guests.

My vote is to make the guest room fairly uninviting if possible. Turn it into a craft room for large rude paper mache projects that will be sure to offend. Tell them it is a class project.

cooking the burgers and steaks rare to medium rare took care of my issue..... all they had to do is hear I was cooking..... my in laws would run out the house yelling "sangre, sangre" "mi yerno es un vampiro"

and always always put ice in their pepsi......
