@g-force junkie - What's the turning speed on a Zephyr like?
I'm going to try and get my hands on a Caution Spitfire 15m if I can. I know Caution builds beefy kites for riding waves and I read a review that
made the 2011 sound pretty good. I'm afraid that for a lot of companies their 15/16m kite is their "light wind" kite and so may be a lot less beefy
than what I need. I typically fly my Bularoo 16m in 18 - 22+ mph wind, so not exactly light winds.

Flew zephyr yesterday it's a big slow turning kite it pulls but not much fun to fly IMO there is better out there my big kite is a 2009 16 m thruster
turns fast and is responsive has a lot of apparent wind speed which is not great for Dw, likes line tension and then really takes off get to the end
of the tack then you realize how light the wind is ,the kite just shuts off . Loved last years infinity really a great kite almost bought it but could
not justify the price as my lw kite was still good. Just got the switch nitro 14 m great kite great price, I really enjoy flying it I ride surf board
strapless, power management with this kite is by far the best short sheeting and fast turning all make for an easy kite to control to release power
with out shutting it off like some sle kites you can generate power with aggressive flying, it maintains it's power through the turns.
I m in Nags Head till the 14 of oct your welcome to try the nitro or my buds zephyr
if your close to here.

RRD 15M II like 09/10 one of the quicker bigger kites i have ridden.
delta hybrid type thing not sure of recent production lines though
i have been going back into my old c-kites . 15m ss fuel thats what you need!
it would have to be older don't know the years for that size, like 05 /06. surf relaunch would be a pain but what performance!
@ KK .....cat quick baby!

@PHREE - I had a 15m Fuel C-kite. Great kite, at the time, but nowhere's near the depower / range of newer kites. No way I'm going back to c-kites!
@Jim - Thanks for the offer, I'm in Atlantic Beach which is about 6 hours south of you. I got a couple offers to demo other kites up in that area, if
I wasn't so broke I'd think about making the drive. But if I make the trip I might not be able to afford a new kite any more. :P

dont' bother testing the zephyr. it's a good kite but not for what you want.
I spent 1 day on the zephyr last year. we were doing a 8miles downwind. It's a slow turner. I had hard time to go downwind with the kite. Does not
drift well at all.
on the other hand, it's a good freeride/jumper kite.
