mark you beat me to what I was going to do with the map imagery but you did a better job than I could have. But Spencer is right;'the UFO crash site
was right accross the street in the dunes where they built the X-men set. Rocket ship and all. Funny part was after millions of dollars it was all
dumped on the cutting room floor and filmed again somewhere else.

OK, all set for JIBE with permits confirmed, including Kite Fort.
Nancy at JIA confirms that to use the pavilions, just throw a cooler or some other paraphernalia out there early in the day to make it look "in use"
and it's ours all we want.
There is pavilion 1 nearest the Kite Fort with one grill and one table, or pavilion 2 just beyond it with 2 grills and three tables. All have four
electrical outlets.

I was initially thinking Thursday lunch, but Thursday is my daughter's 7th birthday and I don't want to be too preoccupied thinking about lunch and
ruin my mini golf game :D,... so I'm gonna say lets do Friday Lunch at one of the Pavilions at Great Dunes Park... sort of closing out the week with
food and fellowship.
I'll bring Hot Dogs, buns, and some condiments (someone else will need to bring some more too so we have enough)... bring yourself and some food items
to share... we'll need some burgers and chips and stuff like that too I'm sure. In 2013 Chris brought some corn we threw on the grill and it was
sweet. Might want to bring a folding chair too.
I can bring a bag of charcoal too.
I'm going to take a nap now

The tides get later and later as the week progresses. A Friday shin dig would be a good way to pass the time til the sand opens up. We missed the
closing jibe luncheon last year, so I'm all in for a little fore planning. My wife is saying a big pan of homemade Mac n cheese.

Friday sounds good with us- we will talk about what to bring once we are down there but we can do anything or what is needed- although I make a mean
sesame noodle pasta or a cilantro lime infused coleslaw. Of course having it at the end we could use it as a corn event (Clean Out Refrigerator
Night) - this way we all have less to carry home / throw away. So excited was actually figuring out our menu for the week given the late tides looks
like it will be a lot of "light" meals.
