This is a forum where people discuss ideas and comment on topics as far as I know. Some people need to get over themselves and stop trying to make
issues on this forum where there is none to make themselves seem so important .

Your just doing it on purpose now. You know you would t like it if someone piggy backed on your for sale or in this case for rent item.

John is a standup guy that's been in the business for quite a while with the knowledge and expertise to back up anything that he has done or said. Of
all the people that I personally know I would have no problem doing business with him. He is a man of his word with the integrity and class to back up
Everything.
Give him a shout, or a phone call and see if the kite is available right now. If you need his personal information I can get that to you.

I just tossed that one at you in friendly jest because of your perpetual Peak-as-the-antiChrist rant. Don't you know that the Peaks are better and
more important than the wind itself?

My sense is that John at Powerzone is insured for this kind of arrangement. When we rent out a kite we only rent to people who are certified IKO or
Pasa or have taken lessons with us. They are required to fill out pre-meds and waivers before we let them touch a kite. We pay a premium to be
covered.
In the event that something happens to the renter or to someone else in the use of Windrider's "rental" my bet is Windrider isn't insured against
potential occurrences and here in "the land of the lawsuit" he would ultimately be on the hook for damages to the renter as well as collateral damages
to anyone or anything else involved. It's one type of exposure to lend someone a kite to try, it's a whole different thing once money changes hands.
But hey, you might make a quick buck letting strangers take your kite for a ride so what the heck right?
This is John's thread. He's a dealer offering a useful service. If Windrider, or anyone else for that matter want's to start their own half a$$ed
"rental" operation, expose themselves to liability and/or the risk of having potentially unqualified persons flogging their gear, they should start
their own thread. Hijacking the thread of a legitimate dealer who has a long standing and good reputation in this forum is not only inappropriate
it's simply low class. And if anyone has an issue with my assessment they can PM me or start another thread to begin a discussion inclusive of
everyone in the forum.
I'm not going to discuss this further on this thread.

Here we go with the drama and safety police . You know its a good idea not to comment more feyd , you know the old saying if you don't have anything
good to say then better not to speak at all. You guys need to start your own forum lets see how long it last before everyone stops coming by. I think
if I want to charge a small fee for someone to try out my gear its my right and not yours to decide . I am quite aware of the potential liabilitys
involved but guess what anything in life can be a liability . I hardly think the situation is tht serious so you can cut it with the scare tactics.
I am sure your minions would now jump in righ behind you with more scary comments . cue in 3,2,1

well this is all very interesting, but seriously... lets either close this particular thread and start a new one or just get back on track with legit
interest in the rental and who currently has it or wants to have it next.
thankyou to those with kind words about Powerzone Kitesports, it seems the model of service, care, and respect is making a difference to kiters
worldwide.
i haven't lost interest yet in the offer, but its heading down a funky road that frankly i didn't expect. i still believe the PKF members/family can
handle this rental 'idea' in a stand-up professional way.

Hello John,
is this kite available from 17-Feb till 26-Feb, or do you have any others for rent?
I would pick up and drop off in Bellingham.
Thanks
Gabe
