4m NS3
6M Peak 1
2.6m Peter Lynn Viper S

Now:

Excited to see how this goes!

Not a bad little quiver! At least for my conditions out West I found use too for the 4m Peak, particularly if I was on a low rolling resistance surface like Ivanpah's playa. For grass or other higher resistance surface (not sure about sand as I have no experience yet) It has to be pretty windy before your 6m P1 is too much kite.

I just placed my order for P3s and went with 4m, 6m, and 12m, skipping over the 9m. I rarely used my 9m P2, finding the overlap of the 6m and 12m great enough to make it largely unnecessary. Sort of a "nice to have" versus "need to have" sort of kite.

My 6 showed up too. It was all wrinkled. But now that it's done in the washer/ and as soon as it gets out of the dryer I'll give it a try.
How many fabric softener sheets should I use for the 6 m size?:alien:

??? I hope you wrapped the bridles up nicely before putting it in the washer. :o

You inadvertently just rinsed the kite clean of some collectors-item Ivanpah Playa dust. You know how hard I worked to get that dust in there? I know, I've got to let it go..... :karate:

As for the wrinkling, it won't affect flying and it was sold at 40% of what I bought it for with what I felt was a fair description and pictures. I never tried to present it as "crispy" but please contact me if you have issues with the kite's quality or condition.

It appears to be in fine condition Steve, it seems you missed the lakebed with this one.
If wrinkles made a difference then Old guys couldn't fly at all.
Some fold, some roll, some stuff, but if the kite stays wrinkly then the wind must be too light.

I didn't mean to complain, just to joke. My version of weeeeee!

Wait a minute....you didn't think I would really put our kite in a washing machine?
To any young trooper who reads this.
Do Not Put Your Kite in the washing machine.
Do Not Put Your Kite in the washing machine.
I was only joking about the washing machine.
The Dryer is also a NO.

Steve you'll forget all about this old girl when the fancy new one shows up.
I actually waved goodbye when I shipped the 2 Peels. Only one 5m left. Sigh.
The Twister. Well that was only a summer love.
Don't worry I'll treat her nicely. You can visit her if you want to.

All good from my end Ed. Glad the kite missed a run through the wash and dry cycle.

Great first flight today. Lunchtime static session at the nearby park... very light winds fluctuating between nothing and 10mph... I can tell this kite is going to be great in the buggy for sure!

Thanks Steve!

They are a great buggy cruising engine.
It was the first De-power kite I used in a buggy to try and hone my skills.
Saying that I am still honing my skills with De-power (still forget to let out the bar).
Have loads of fun fun with it, I'm sure you will
