wind speed ? 22mph with gust to 28mph local spot meter around miday . 12:30 suited and lit.

wow, trim 80% IN, right to the water , really tight feel alot like a c-kite , the bridal thing seemed to keep things together no flaring (has a LE line ringed to center cell at #2 braid on the belly), very responsive, improved turning for sure.

if anything it may have robbed from its lower end ... boxed up tight it chokes earlier in lighter wind

same power lift, a little sharper feel
same float maybe a fraction more control
the canopy had little boxier appearance

2+hours on the water
2hours ATB
raining at start til 3PM
and the wind dropped a bit around 3 seemed 12-15mph,

sun came out about 4PM dried out nicely

very nice much tighter set up , glad i got it

thanks KS

FULL MOON RIDE TONIGHT ATB on the same breeze arounnd 1AM ...for the second dose of this tweaked watersnake

No fullmoon riding for me. It snowed 3+ inches here last night after blowing 20-30 nw for 36 hrs. That blew all the water out of the lake and bay. Tides droped 4+ feet. It was quite the challange this morning trying to get off a boat on a fixxed dock with 3 inches of ice. Looking forward to 20= onshore winds this weekend plus temps back to the seventys..............aj

county park at folly will look the about the same

this is a western look so dafuskie is in the background SAV(tybee) is southward.
this pic was last winter and there is a gullyslick washout right through the middle now

the other pics in the gallery (on the water )are just around the corner with dafuskie closer.

the wind here at this point tend to be rough and gusty. the tides are very fast not too many guys like to ride here for those reasons, if its really nice north or west a small crew shows

road out to the shipping lanes yesterday on a west once you get below dafuskie(south a mile or two) its really nice not so lumpy.
