Lucky son of a gun! I think we're going to try Jekyll on Sunday. It looks like the wind will be cranking straight from the south and the temps are high! 75 degrees in January! We're going to cruise down Saturday afternoon and catch the low tide Sunday morning. How is Sullivan's with a strong southerly?

lighter wind session Sat and it will be cranking Sunday...................south wind is warm and side on............. almost the same direction as last weekend..................even though the last 2 days have been 10 to 12 mph the 19m coupled with the Door is unbeatable....................the combo makes awesome speed even in lower winds and jumps are high and floaty...................hard to imagine 10 footers in 10/11 mph winds.....................:o:o:duh::duh:

TRI, looks like FRI gonna be a ton from the SOUTH warmer with rain.

after hi tide should be champion.

I'm gonna session here FRI. then session SAT. @ chas. if it front has decent back end should be nice.

best rule on sessions in the rain...you get to dry your junk the next day FOR ANOTHER SESSION. hope to catch you SAT. will ring on the way for details if all works out.

just back from Sullivans................NE 27 gusting to 35mph..........................10m Synergy flew great.............ALOT different than the FSers but this kite was rock stable, very fast thru the window and in turns........popped a couple sweet jumps and tried my first kite loop...............ate it hard but what a rush.............................:duh:

same here solid NE about 25-30mph. 2-5pm .

jumped on FOLLY @ the south end on a rising tide with the WEST wind. fun wave section, 1/2 dozen locals guys running as well. very tight (side/side off shore) spot at the park. 6-10ft erosion bluff dune and 20 ft beach.

I felt that warm afternoon sea breeze yesterday.............springs coming!!! 10 to 15ish Sunday from the SW (side shore) afternoon low tide.......anyone game?.............the 19m SA2 and or 12m Speed 2 should be in play.................just tuned both mixers at B-1cm C-2cm.............ready to get them out for a sesh.....................................

SW WSW Sunday afternoon and Monday morning could be interesting........................

DUDE! tuesday i nearly froze. went light on the gloves and in 30 min. hands where solid blocks.

Monday around 10 am looks good...........SW at 15 kts, temp around 55...............anyone game..................Phree, KD, Mel, Angus................................the snow was about an hour late......... almost had a liquid/frozen H2O session........................

winds were 12 to 14 mph when I got there..................12m Speed 2 was rocking.......................... after about 30 mins or so the winds got up to 15ish and I finally had some company......................around 20 kts I put the 12m down for the 10m Pulse.....................winds were 20 to 23 and what an awesome kite the Pulse....................I did mixer tests on both kites this weekend and they flew phenominal...................have to say the 10m Pulse is the most enjoyable kite to fly that Ive ever owned...................good upwind, in the waves, easy relaunch, and boosts very well..........................

yes but out of nowhere a nice 15 mph SSW kicked in @ 3pm this afternoon...................

ESE 10 to 12 at the moment................................afternoon thermals kickin early this year.....................the 19 and Spleene are in the back seat..............

18 to 20 sideshore from the SW yesterday............................................had a few moonshoot boosts on the 12M S2..........................................finished up on the Pulse.....greatr session...................

11-13 kts....................... only one out on the 12m S2 but there were 5 or 6 12m inflatos pumped but no joy...............one guy tried on a 12m Cabrihna delta...................

Saturday SW was indeed a great session , best steady wind we 've had in a while,

That sounds awesome. I was hoping the winds would cooperate. I've already started scheming how I pack everything. What kind of suit is in order right now. I have my shorty or a full drysuit. The drysuit is probably the one unless the air temp gets much out of the lower 70's but I'm curious if you guys are getting along with shortys yet.
