sweet session/day......................either side of the sandbar was spectacular...............nice interval to Danielle's swell and will only get better tomorrow.................inside the bar was the usual butter...................@ least 50 kites on the water and another 30 pumped and on the beach......................even better Phree was on the scene workin it well on his EXA 13.................good to ride with him on the water again......................Phree, Nate, and I had one sweet day/session on the water................................

winds were down this weekend..............seems Earl sucked the winds away last Thursday BUT there was enough for an awesome 2 hour sandbar buggy session....................ESE 6 to 9 kts, 12m Speed 2, and PL Bigfoot buggy...................................

That High pressure system sitting on top of you guys leaves you with little wind but has given us solid on-shore breezes all week long, 10-20 mph. Johnny Laing and I shredded the beach last night with solid 14-16 mph direct on-shore. He was working his 3,5 Blurr like mad and I was breaking the back axle loose with the Phantom 15. I left to go home to empty the doggies and he was still riding. I pulled over on Beachview drive and caught this pic of his kite over the dunes framed with the full Harvest Moon. Dark and grainy but all I could manage in a hurry.....

nice , here its been ESE mostly 10-12mph. South GA still very hot! cooling on the SC coast

right now the forecast is a bit dodgy.............NOAA is the only one calling for wind Sunday, south 10 to 15. I will say that if the direction is south or SSW we will have wind. I spoke to Angus yesterday and if his forecast is more solid by late saturday, we are off the JI on Sunday..................

so for right now we will be here Sunday but subject to change.............if the breeze comes in we will see you around 11 at 28.5............................tide wiil be low at 430pm

we were out at 28.5 yesterday............................I was going to do a surf and turf. I took the buggy on the sandbar and noticed alot of the fellas walking back upwind so I stayed on the sandbar with the Phantom....had some awesome speed runs................OBTW I understand starting this week flying inside the sandbar (water) will be prohibited. Launch and land only................There was a kite/sunbather incident as I understand it.......not sure how inside the bar will work at high tide so more to come.

during hi tide , no one hangs in the ditch, must have been LABOR day crowds.

i have to say running outside is where to be.

its a dense spot. if everyone HAD to do solo launches and land their on junk. i think things would be safer. kiters would HAVE to HAVE control of their rig AND select appropriate area.

Halloween session that was def a treat......winds 14 to 16ish on an outgoing tide........choppy and unorganized outside the sandbar but fun none the less.....the 12m Wainman was/is awesome..................rode down the line what was ridable. popped a few jumps and called it a day......board shorts and neoprene top still in play but wet suit weather is almost here..........................this was probably our last warm weather/water, SW/SSW wind till next April.....................oh well back to the wetsuits and thank you Angus for the selling the Bigfoot..............:duh::duh:

NW/offshore..........extreme low tide, I walked to the sandbar (no water).........winds were 13 to 16 mph........................12m Phantom session and I had company.........2 landboarders on inflatables were jammin as well. Quick chat and they mentioned the graphics on the Phantom were awesome.

busy week but did get out for about an hour Tuesday evening for a nite kite sesh with my son......................winds were 18 to 21 SSW and warm about 65 degrees................12m Wainman on fire.........awesome range on this one...............Nate was lit on his 10m Vegas...................night kites with glow stix are awesome!!!!

Were you on the water in the dark? I just bought a bulk pack of glow sticks, just waiting for a chance to stir up the locals. Nothing like a Phantom glowing about 80 feet off the ground.

started at 6pm and finished around 7................cloudy so no moon but the tide was mid going out and the white water gave you sandbar reference and the town lights in Mt Pleasant gave plenty of light heading back in...........................1 glow stick on the harness, 1 on the board grab handle and one on the leash lanyard on the kite........................saw a couple nice size dorsal fins..................shark or dolphin not sure

good lookin forecast starting Wednesday thru the holiday weekend........water and or buggy friendly..............water, sandbar or the beach................anyone?

Our schedule goes from complex to zero in the wink of the wife's wishes . i'm sticken to a "no travel holiday" at this point.

actually just got my "new"tube back all solid and had 3 out 4days of decent light atb sessions on my 16 and my shoulders are due for a rest so hopefully friday i'll get nice short rehab session on the water with light bar pressure.

Might be able to join you Sometime over the weekend. Let me know a general time frame for Sat/Sun

@ Phree..........glad to hear you have the 13m EXA back..............of course only 6 months old but how many hours logged?

EXA about 300+hours . so that's like 100 sessions .

it was on at Sullis today outside the sand bar..............winds slight side off 18 to 20 kts and the 12m Wainman is now dialed in and loaded for bear............landed a couple huge 360s ramping off wave faces...........great sesh........Mgtac/Phree wish you could have been here!!!

SSW 18 to 22 kts and the night kite was on...................9m SS Rev weapon of choice......sweet sesh inside the sandbar with some nice jumps.....Nathan ripped it up on his 10m Vegas and Cabrihna custom board...............................If you havent night kited you need too!

followed up today with an early afternoon buggy sesh with the 12m Phantom and 9m Rev......................uploading vids as we speak and will post shortly...............couple of uneventful OBEs.......................:duh:
