Sullis was 9m weather today....................17 to 20 nudos, SSW........................yep Friday and Saturday will be on! wished Id had the 6m Pulse 2 today................would have been plenty with the fish @ 166 lbs...........:o

riding in the fog? normally the marine layer kills the wind but we had 14 to 18mph winds and plenty of fog. It was good seeing and riding with kitedog again. kiting in the fog was an amazing experience somewhat like night kiting....................I read where Phree had the same conditions at HHI..................

What are the air and water temps for you guys right now? When does it get trunkable?

air temps are running in the mid/upper 60s and water temps just at or above 60 @ the beach.........................I checked yesterdays data from wind alert at it was 18 to 22 mph around 2pm.....................Kitedog mentioned he felt over powered on his 12m Pulse 2, now I know why! Nicely done Greg!!!

12-4 was nice then the haze hit about 4 and then it slamed on! no fog, moisture just north of us bloomed

this morning ragged too!

Good seeing you Tridude! Crazy conditions yesterday, huh? Glad that marine layer didn't kill the wind. Guess I was overpowered. I know I was spent after two hours. Fun and exhausting. Long drive too...payin' for it today but I've got a smile on my face!

strong ENE yesterday and today.............Im hoping to break 50mph today on the sandbar with the 6m Pulse 2/5m Waroo/2.5m Bullet................regardless of the kite 50mph should be attainable today.........................water session prior of course...................:wow:

winds still NE 21/22 knots at 50 degrees...................great for water but need 10 to 15 degrees more lean to the east for a PB buggy run. Im gonna use the 5m Waroo in hopes fpr a PB. Im not sure the 2.5m Bullet can get me where I hope to be......................I need a serious 2m buggy kite, any ideas?

yeah Pete, BB, Angus, and Rich all say the same thing..................gonna have to give them a go at WWBB and JIBE..................winds never came on shore................awesome water session today..........rode for about an hour and a half which is a good sign Im getting my strength back (last chemo round kicked my butt)......winds were NE @ 22/24 kts, air temp 70 degrees water temp 62..............powered up nicely on the 9m Wainman............waves were chest to shoulder.................butter slicks on the inside...............rode strapless then strapped for a few nice airs.....................timing, skill set coming back........stoked for JI in a couple weeks with the P2s and new inflatables on site..................buggy PB will happen soon enuff............ride hard, be safe, and fly em like you stole it :duh:

I don't kitesurf yet but I will have a landboard that I am learning on.

forecast for the weekend is lookin stellar out of the NE/ENE...............................low pressure spinning off the coast being blocked by a mid atlantic high could spin up another TD/TS......either way promises wind and waves (lets pray for no rescues)..........................anyone for a surf and turf?

awesome Saturday afternoon session........................winds were ENE (side on) at 15 to 17 mph..............strong current outside the sandbar so I chose the 17m Zephyr...............def made the right choice, sweet kite and session.............:duh::duh:
