Got the Phantom 15. Looks good with low time, besides the one patched hole I new about. I replaced the clear plastic patch of unknown type with a ripstop repair tape patch both inside and out and she is good to go. The Zero 4 bar and lines are obviously very low time.

Nice little brother for the 18m.

Synergy 15 up for grabs...

I'm surprised you still have that Synergy.

You can now be phantomized in most any winds you would choose to buggy in. I bet the 15 gets the most use.

This one shows the awesome graphics. Hot launch on a day with barely enough wind to fly it.

There are no blueprints. They are starting from scratch to reverse engineer the old Phanny and add in the technological advancements that improve the package. They won't let it out till all that matter are happy with the result. It should be worth it.

The company operations changed hands between now and the Phantom release. That "old" model info didn't make the switch and isn't to be had any more. I guess they could take one apart and reverse blueprint the panels and start from there. Maybe that is harder. Maybe we'll hear someday.

Marijn is on the road till next week and won't see this for a bit...
Last we talked he thought that the PII by the end of the year was a reasonable expectation but cannot promise. He says they really want it to be right and will wait until it is so...

I'd think it's pretty safe to assume there will never be original Phantoms made again. If you guys really love them, better buy used what you can. And if your phantom ever is destroyed, take it apart and make your own blueprints of that sucker and rebuild. I think that is one of the reason people have this new desire to hunt down Phantoms, they're hard to find. Fun to collect. If I come across any used ones for cheap, I'll buy it. Not because I really liked the Phantom, but because I could resell it on this site for profit! haha.

There is a guy in the area.. with a small Phantom.. that I don't know if he flies anymore. Sitting on gold I guess huh!

Cool tho, very cool.

One run down the coast with that and our Plover troubles would be over.

I see right now, I'm going to have to inflate the 15 and make me a new avatar. I have some ideas.:smug:

Now to give you a little history of the state park where I was flying at, it's haunted... flat out spooky stuff. I could hear the scream of the 6m faintly while flying it from a far but when I replayed the video it simply gave me goose bumps. I feel as if I captured a spirit within the kite for it to give out such a scream. All I can say is I hoping the spirit was having a good ride such as I was.
